BLRT Repair Yards in Tallinn welcomed 14 A-type vessels of Royal Wagenborg
In December, Tallinn Shipyard repaired the multi-purpose ship Alaskaborg, thus completing maintenance of all A-type ships owned by the Royal Wagenborg shipping company.
Over the past three years, from 2020 to 2022, – the yard has maintained 14 A-type vessels, with four of them – Amazoneborg, Avonborg, Americaborg and Alaskaborg – undergoing repairs in 2022.
On top of general maintenance, most of the Royal Wagenborg vessels coming to BLRT Repair Yards also had bwts installed. For instance, in 2020, Tallinn Shipyard professionals fitted BWTS onto 13 vessels of the long-standing partner, 15 – in 2021 and 9 – in 2022.
Royal Wagenborg considers the Ocean Health initiative of great importance, which is why the company has set an #ambitious target to install at least 20 ballast water treatment systems per year.
